So long Mr. Grant, hello harsh truth

Now I'm not a grand footie follower but thinking about the consequences of the championship final where Avram Grant was fired after not achieving the title, it made me think about this innate human instinct to want instant results and anything else is unacceptable. Mr. Abramamovic has such a financial gain he sees no problem in throwing money at the next hopeful and if no silverware is brought home as a payback then he has to go and the next guy will be given a chance. This casual expenditure then led me to think about Britain and its economic problems when it hit me - we should persuade Abramovic to buy the United Kingdom. If more persuading is required than just control over the British Isles then it should be said that it could be a present for his daughter. A new Prime Minister every 8 months and if no international conflict has been won then another general election is held.

My point is that no matter how tempting it can be to want the option for instant gratification, more often than not it isn't the most successful. The best things in life don't come easy and they certainly don't come quick.
